People: Executive Hires at CareerBuilder, Namely and More

HCM Technology People Moves

New hires, promotions and other people moves throughout the HCM technology community of customers, vendors and analysts.

CareerBuilder named Sasha Yablonovsky as executive vice president of customer experience. The company calls Yablonovsky, who joined CareerBuilder in September, “a seasoned customer experience executive.” She’s responsible for leading the global teams responsible for helping customers successfully use CareerBuilder’s technology and services.

Lorna Hagen will join Namely as the company’s chief people officer. She held the same role at OnDeck and has also before that worked in leadership positions at LOFT, Dow Jones and HarperCollins, Namely said.

Leadership development platform BetterUp hired Deborah Wolf to be chief marketing officer. Previously she was CMO for cybersecurity company Lookout and vice president of corporate marketing for Workday.

RealWear hired Michael Guerchon as vice president of HR. Guerchon brings more than 25 years of experience across a variety of growth-oriented companies leading HR and culture initiatives, the company said. RealWear provides technology solutions for in-field training.

Employee benefits provider Trustmark Mutual named Kevin Slawin president and CEO. He assumes leadership of the company following the retirement of Joseph Pray. In addition to serving on Trustmark’s board, Slawin has recently advised private equity and hedge funds on insurance industry-related acquisitions and investments.

Achievers, a provider of employee recognition and engagement solutions, appointed Shrey Bhatia as CEO. Most recently the president and CEO of Reputation.com, Bhatia brings over 20 years of global management experience to Achievers. He succeeds Aris Zakinthinos, who served as interim general manager and chief technology officer and will now continue as CTO.

Buck—formerly the integrated HR and benefits consulting, administration and technology services firm Conduent HRS Consulting –said it’s appointed Steve Coco as chief solutions officer to lead strategic initiatives globally. “Coco will focus on maximizing clients’ business outcomes by introducing new strategic consulting solutions and technology strategies that transform the HR experience,” the company said.

TrustSphere, which specializes in relationship analytics and organizational network analytics, created a science advisory board with the appointment of social network analysis expert Karen Stephenson as its first member. Stephenson will work with TrustSphere’s team to provide additional scientific guidance to the company’s product strategy, research and development.

Josh Bersin, one of the leading analysts in HCM Tech, joined PeopleStrong’s board as an independent director. PeopleStrong is an Indian HR technology company with more than 200 customers and some 600,000 users.
