iCIMS announced a new investment in its technology department “to further enhance its product user interface, platform integration capabilities and the candidate experience.” The company plans to increase headcount in its Labs department by about 25 percent by 2018’s first quarter. Earlier this year, the company launched an in-house Design Lab focused on UI enhancements for both the back-end talent acquisition platform and the front-end candidate experience.

ADP SmartCompliance and ADP Benefits joined SAP’s App Center, the marketplace for SAP partner offerings. By Integrating with SuccessFactors, ADP says it can help businesses better manage employment-related compliance and benefits administration requirements.

BambooHR announced partnerships with background-check company GoodHire and performance-management firm Lattice. GoodHire will allow customers to identify which candidates might need a background check from within the BambooHR environment, while Lattice will structure one-on-one meetings and also enable 360-performance-reviews, gather real-time feedback and keep track of goals, objectives and key results.

Skype now allows hiring managers to conduct video interviews on top of a code editor that runs in their Microsoft Edge or Chrome browser. The editor supports C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python and Ruby, and includes built-in syntax highlighting to help prevent syntactic mistakes during an interview. It’s available at Skype.com/interviews.

Montage, a provider of purpose-built video and voice interviewing solutions, acquired competitor GreenJobInterview. CEO Kurt Heikkinen said the acquisition, combined with a newly completed $8 million funding round, will allow Montage to “simultaneously expand our market presence while further investing in our platform to better serve clients, candidates and the marketplace.”

SmartRecruiters released SmartStart, a free version of the SmartRecruiters enterprise talent acquisition suite that’s designed specifically for teams and companies of up to 250 employees.

Green Circle Health hired Angela Hall as its new senior director of Business Development to support the health and wellness technology company’s expansion efforts.
