O.C. Tanner unveiled Align, a tool that helps develop leadership through one-on-ones, goals and integrated recognition, and Culture Cloud, an evolution of the company’s culture-building platform. Vice President of Product Steve Fairbanks said Align was designed to integrate with managers’ regular workflow, facilitate consistency with in-person one-on-ones and simplify mentoring, coaching, goal-setting and recognition.
Beamery and Entelo partnered to give recruiters a complete package of sourcing, engagement and other recruitment tools for use at every stage of the funnel. They companies said they’re partnering to ensure users of both platforms can navigate between them seamlessly, thus allowing sourcers to leverage Beamery’s workflows in conjunction with Entelo’s recruiting automation functionality.
HiringSolved showed off R6, a new version of its AI-based talent-sourcing software. The enhancement includes new features for scoring, identifying and communicating with qualified candidates and applicants. A significant feature is what the company calls “RAI,” or “recruiting artificial intelligence,” a “Siri-like” assistant uses both written and verbal interactions. The beta version of R6 will be available in Q4 2018.
SmashFly Technologies released a “marketing-grade” content management system that helps employers create career sites in less time. The CMS enables talent acquisition teams to better control, manage and deliver candidates’ career site experiences. Through the system’s drag-and-drop approach, users can add and update pages and edit copy and content in real-time, internally, without any coding experience.
Ultimate Software and Deloitte Canada formed a strategic alliance that will assist enterprises leverage Ultimate’s UltiPro suite through Deloitte’s business transformation and technology services. Deloitte will help Ultimate’s customers create standardized methodologies around employee experience.
Employee recognition and engagement solution provider Achievers announced the availability of Achievers Listen as a standalone solution. Listen, a continuous employee-listening tool designed to ask questions and engage with workers in a scientifically validated way, is designed around a model of employee engagement the company developed based on research led by its chief workforce scientist, Natalie Baumgartner.
Code Pilot launched its “Radar” product, which helps companies to hire software engineers at scale. Radar’s designed to help assist in validating candidates and eliminate “the noise often caused by cognitive bias,” the company said. It includes two components: The first is Test Manager, which uses advanced automation with a series of proprietary code assessments to measure technical skills, theoretical knowledge and practical ability. The second is Database, which accesses the detailed profiles of Code Pilot’s global candidate database indexes data throughout an engineer’s open source digital footprint in platforms like GitHub and Bitbucket to create one centralized viewpoint.
Hospitality operations platform Fourth acquired Choice HR, a full-service payroll, benefits and HR services business. “We have joined forces with Choice HR to eliminate the need for multiple systems, allowing for more effective staff management against a backdrop of onerous labor legislation,” said Ben Hood, Fourth’s CEO.
Korn Ferry launched its Korn Ferry Perform on Salesforce’s AppExchange. The application is part of a new suite of employee enablement and professional development applications from the company.
Ameriflex, an independent health plan administrator will partner with Employee Navigator to streamline the management of employee benefits for workers across the country. The partnership offers plan administrators the simplicity of seamless data transfer from Employee Navigator’s benefits-admin software with Ameriflex’s CDH and COBRA self-service platforms. The have now fully integrated their platforms in time for the 2019 open enrollment season.
PactSafe added Chat-to-Sign to its platform. The new product integrates with collaboration hub Slack and customer messaging solution Intercom to allow signers to accept contracts inside of chat conversations. With it, requests for new seats on a platform, business proposals or employee documents such as new hire forms can all be sent directly to the necessary respondent’s messaging application.
Workforce management company ZeroChaos filed a patent application for a workflow that automates and customizes the job requisition process to improve compliance, financial safeguards and quality control across a global workforce. The workflow would guide hiring managers to correct, customizable requisition template that are consistent with an organization’s hiring policies.
Cisive, a provider of HCM and risk management solutions, announced a partnership with enterprise-recruiting software developer SmartRecruiters. Cisive provides legally compliant employment background screening, drug testing, onboarding and electronic Form I-9/E-Verify solutions to enterprises.
10x Psychology, a company that provides modern assessment tools, predictive analytics and other solutions that span the entire employee lifecycle to support worker well-being, launched in the UK. By going beyond core psychometrics like ability and personality to encompass areas including wellbeing, employee experience and values, the company said it helps businesses predict the probability of each applicant and employee’s success, and helps identify where in the organization an individual will be most successful.
Diversity firm Medici Group unveiled Medici LIVE, an experience-design service that delivers content and programming for executive leadership meetings and D&I conferences in the U.S. and Europe. Medici LIVE’s content focuses on growth and business performance while equipping audiences with skills and tools to share with and mobilize their teams, the company said.
