Kallidus shortlisted for five Learning Technologies Awards

Kallidus, the leading provider of learning and talent management solutions, has been shortlisted for five prestigious Learning Technologies Awards. The awards recognise and reward excellence in learning technologies from across the world and are the leading, independently judged scheme in the industry.

Kallidus has made the 2019 shortlist in the following five categories:

  • Best Learning Platform Implementation – JYSK Nordic and Kallidus
  • Best Learning Technologies Project (UK commercial sector) – Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) and Kallidus
  • Best Use of Blended Learning (UK commercial sector) – Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) and Kallidus
  • Learning Designer of the Year – Graham Waller, Kallidus
  • Learning Developer of the Year – Joe Turner, Kallidus

Homeware retailer JYSK Nordic has worked in partnership with Kallidus to deploy Kallidus Learn to over 12,000 employees across 20 countries, enabling the roll-out of a new sales and customer service mobile learning curriculum. The platform has created a thriving learning culture of connected learners and has enabled a transformation from eLearning to mLearning, making a marked contribution to a 12% increase in turnover, a 40+% increase in online sales and significant improvements in customer service and employee satisfaction levels. Such is the success of this digital transformation initiative; it has become the benchmark for all new system implementations at JYSK.

Kallidus and Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), the UK’s biggest rail franchise, have worked in partnership to create and deliver One Step Ahead, an initiative which supports the modernisation of infrastructure, ticketing and passenger services. As part of a £2 million blended learning customer service training programme, nearly 3,000 customer-facing staff, managers and supervisors have been trained using face-to-face learning, innovative eLearning and games. The initiative is driving organisational change and giving staff the critical skills they need to support improvements in customer care and performance.

The shortlist has been derived from hundreds of entries across the world by a judging panel made up of over 56 independent industry experts organised by the eLearning Network. The winners will be announced at the Learning Technologies gala evening on 27 November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, UK.
