Roundup: LinkedIn Plans for Expansion; Hireology Targets Car Dealers

This week’s roundup of deals, product announcements and other news from the HCM technology community.

LinkedIn will relocate its office in Omaha, Neb., after construction of a 200,000 square-foot campus is finished in 2021. Home to more than 450 employees, today’s Omaha facility includes customer support teams, as well as marketing, engineering, legal, HR and recruiting staff. The company expects the new office to expand its local headcount. Separately, the company plans to acquire more office space in Sunnyvale, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Hireology, developer of recruitment CRM for multi-location, decentralized enterprises, and the National Automobile Dealers Association will cooperate on HCM to identify the latest trends and best practices in automotive retail. In addition, Hireology launched a full-stack recruitment management platform designed for auto dealers.

Recruiting-software provider Lever will open a Toronto office to support sales in North America and scale growth overseas. The San Francisco-based company said it’s begun hiring for the new office and plans to have more than 65 employees in HR, sales, product development, engineering and IT by the end of 2019.

Lever also announced a connector for ADP Workforce Now, which allows the products to seamlessly share new-hire data. The connector pre-populates ADP’s New Hire Wizard with information from Lever’s candidate profile, requisition, offer forms.

Inova Payroll added a full-service HR outsourcing solution and group benefits to its product line. The launches follow the company’s recent expansion and move to larger headquarters in Nashville.

Benefits-platform provider Green Circle Health enhanced its platform to include an HR services dashboard, a benefits dashboard for employees, an internal communications gateway, improved events and scheduling, Spanish-language capabilities and streamlined communication modules for care providers.

Insurance-technology developer Bunker launched a real-time proof of insurance feature tailored to on-demand workers. Bunker’s Live COI improves on PDF documents by quickly reflecting changes to active insurance policies and notifying certificate holders when a contractor’s policy is modified.sUsers can also build insurance requirements on Bunker’s platform, share them contractors and use its compliance dashboard to track whether the requirements have been met.

Execupay and AP Intego Insurance Group, a technology-enabled insurance agency for SMBs, have partnered to offer AP Intego’s Pay As You Go workers’ comp insurance feature to users of Execupay’s PlatinumPay Xpress Payroll service. Execupay said it provides payroll to over 1 million employees.

NAVEX Global launched the 8th edition of its flagship Workplace Harassment course. The update provides new training designed specifically to address sexual harassment issues for organizations and employees. The all-new course covers topics including employees’ individual roles in harassment prevention, responding harassment, gender identity, and abusive conduct and bullying.

DaXtra Technologies announced an integration with DocCafe.com and the MedJobCafe.com network, providing multi-lingual resume, job parsing, search and match technology with healthcare-focused career development resources.

GPS Hospitality, an operator of more than 400 Burger King and Popeyes restaurants, implemented the UltiPro HR and payroll management suite from Ultimate Software. The Atlanta-based company had been using Ultimate’s full-service HR and payroll administration to help manage a 2016 acquisition that doubled its headcount, then began transitioning to run its own payroll last year.

Recruitment-marketing technology provider SmashFly said its fourth annual Transform conference will be held at Boston’s Revere Hotel from June 19-21.
