Roundup: iCIMS Integrates Assessments; ADP Hooks into Google Cloud

iCIMS launched a prebuilt integration for employers who want to configure, administer and run third-party candidate assessment solutions such as Criteria, Optimize Hire and Traitify within its platform. iCIMS says the tool, dubbed Prime Connector, reduces cost by providing a faster and improved integration with assessment tools. Among other things, Prime Connector eliminates the need for IT implementation support and automates synchronization of assessment tools and iCIMS platform.

ADP announced an integration with Google’s Cloud Identity and G Suite. (Cloud Identity is Google’s platform to manage identity, access, app and devices.) The company said mutual customers will see increases in productivity, end user satisfaction, compliance and security. “It’s essential that HR and IT systems work together to strike the right balance between security and convenience to support a highly distributed and mobile workforce,” commented Frank Villavicencio, ADP’s chief product officer for Access & Identity Management.

Separately, Namely joined Google’s Cloud Partner Program as a Cloud Identity technology partner. The move gives Namely customers greater options to unite their HR and identity solutions, this simplifying user lifecycle management and improving security, the company said.

Shyft will integrate its mobile-first workforce management platform with Kronos Workforce Dimensions. The result will combine the company’s shift-swapping, schedule management and communication capabilities Kronos’s workforce management tools. Shyft believes the  integration will help companies reduce unfilled shifts, reduce turnover and save managers time.

PDS rolled out the latest version of its flagship HCM platform, Vista 7.0.7. The new version offers enhancements to the platform’s analytics and learning management modules, along with other updates. Vista’s Analytics component now offers person-based analytics in addition to standard location, company and organization-based information. Meanwhile, Learning Management added the ability to create, track and manage courses, as well as provide custom learning plans for individual employees.

Bernard Health, a software and benefits advisory firm, launched BernieForms, a software solution for health questionnaires. Aimed at SMBs, BernieForms is a simplified questionnaire platform that offers single sign-on with BerniePortal’s core HR system.

HR solutions provider TriNet kicked off a new ad campaign, “people matter,” which focuses on the workforce and entrepreneurs of its SMB customer base.  Featuring photography by Annie Leibovitz and contributions by other artists, the campaign includes messaging in TV, radio, out-of-home and digital channels, as well as a takeover of New York’s Grand Central Station.

Emerging workplace trends like remote employees, gig workers and health issues such as family care, elder care and drug abuse continue to challenge employers, according to research from Standard Insurance Company. Standard’s Absence and Disability Readiness Index found that less than half of the companies surveyed were confident in their ability to address such challenges as both the workplace and employee health needs change. “The findings show how collaboration between medical, disability and employee assistance partners can address the lack of support for these issues and help affected employees stay productive,” the company said.

Indeed signed a lease for some 184,000 square feet of office space at Domain Gateway in Austin. The company will occupy the entire Class A building, which was built in 2009. According to ReBusiness Online, the space can house the 3,000 employees Indeed plans to hire over the next several years. With the lease, Indeed will have nearly 1 million square feet of space in the Texas capital.
