HCM Technology Report News RoundupiCIMS announced a “Premium Success Plan” to provides a higher level of support to organizations that have complex hiring processes and require higher service availability. Customers who sign on for the plan will receive faster responses to online case submissions and will have access to 24/7 support. In addition, they’ll get faster disaster recovery, extended platform availability, access to a designated customer success resource, annual system health checks and priority access to free training at iCIMS headquarters. 

SmashFly Technologies opened a strategic hub in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The sales, marketing, engineering and operations center will enable SmashFly, a provider of enterprise recruitment marketing technology, to support its rapidly growing global customer base and accelerate development of new product features, specifically around artificial intelligence and support for GDPR compliance. While it will initially focus on software engineering, SmashFly anticipates adding sales, marketing and operations to the facility as it scales up to support new and existing across the U.K. and Europe 

Recruiting platform Greenhouse completed a Series D funding round of $50 million led by Riverwood Capital, according to media reports. The investment increases the company’s total funding to $110 million. Greenhouse will use the money to help meet growing demand and expand its technology’s capabilities. In April, the company teamed with diversity consultant Paradigm to launch tools that help integrate inclusive practices throughout the entire recruiting and hiring process.   

San Francisco-based Code Pilot launched its “data science platform” and said it has qualified software engineers available to hire in the top 20 tech markets around the world. Code Pilot vets candidates through proprietary software engineering and behavioral adaptability assessments that are designed to create true-to-life programming environments and tasks where detailed data is captured and scored using machine learning. The company claims it can cut the hiring process from the industry standard of two-to-three months to a few days. 

Executive search firm ZRG Partners formed a Blockchain Practice. The practice will be led by Managing Director Rahul Kapur and will help financial services, FinTech and healthcare clients, as well as those in emerging blockchain-centric industries, meet the space’s growing talent needs. 

Nomad Health, an online marketplace connecting doctors and nurses with healthcare jobs, launched its digital platform in the Midwestern U.S. Nomad’s platform essentially supports a healthcare gig economy in the Midwest by helping clinicians find freelance or full-time jobs at short-handed hospitals. Nomad says it has 45,000 clinicians and 1,500 medical employers using its tools. 

QJumpers introduced a “Global Search and Match” module for its ATS, leveraging artificial intelligence to uncover and engage qualified passive candidates. The module uses criteria set by hiring managers to search publicly available data such as social media and networking sites, company websites and blogs to identify candidates for a specific position. Criteria such as credentials, location, skills, education and experience can be prioritized to produce a ranked list of potential candidates, who can then be invited to apply for the job with one click. 

Amsterdam’s Textkernel expanded its business development and sourcing tools within Bullhorn. Textkernel says its Jobfeed gives recruiters direct access to Bullhorn’s entire online job market for lead generation, competitive insight and labor market analytics by aggregating and categorizing job listings from around the web to create searchable listings.  

Richmond, Va.-based Workpath announced new features that allow its dashboard users to order, publish and assign shifts with a click, so providers can more easily schedule daily or on-call shifts and fill open shifts. A second release, set for mid-summer, will add the ability to schedule recurring shifts.  

EQ-Insight Coaching in Annapolis, Md., launched the EQ-i2.0 Emotional Intelligence Assessment test. The pre-employment screening tool is intended to identify highly skilled candidates who also demonstrate emotional intelligence, possess specific traits that align with the company’s values and will be a good cultural fit.
