HCM Technology Report News RoundupFirst Advantage and iCIMS announced the deployment of iCIMS’ next-generation integration product for background screening, Prime Connector. The product integrates First Advantage’s background screening solution into iCIMS’ recruiting platform with a one-click activation process, so employers can begin using it immediately. The integrations eliminates the need recruiters to toggle between multiple systems to manage candidate data.

BambooHR announced six additions to its marketplace, including access to educational resources and tools from HR.com. Other new partners include performance-management platform Engagedly, talent-management system Hireology, rewards platform Kudos, productivity platform Lucidchart and MakeShift, a time and attendance system.

Talent Acquisition solutions provider Symphony Talent said it signed 15 new clients during the third quarter for its Hodes and X-Cloud solutions. The company recently announced new integration capabilities with the ATS components of Workday, Taleo, Infor Talent Science and Kenexa.

Kashable secured a $100 million credit facility from MidCap Financial, a premier specialty finance firm managed by Apollo Capital Management. The New York-based company offers a cloud-based alternative consumer lending solution that provides credit to U.S. employees through benefits platforms and PEOs.

Workforce accelerator Trilogy Education acquired JobTrack, a career services platform. JobTrack streamlines the job search process by enabling users to more easily manage applications and interviews. At the same time, it provides career advisors with data and analytics to strengthen their one-on-one coaching sessions and deepen employer relationships. JobTrack’s technology will be incorporated into Trilogy’s existing platform in early 2019.

NovoEd, a cloud-based social and collaborative online learning platform, has been acquired by Boston-based private equity group Devonshire Investors. Among NovoEd’s clients GE, Kraft Heinz and Clorox.

Video recruitment technology provider Digi-Me released a new reporting dashboard that automates reports for video job ads data and metrics. The new dashboard allows users to run an analysis on the time and date when video views occur, as well as candidate applications, in a graphical report. The solution tracks views back to hire, helping clients determine true ROI and cost savings, the company said.

InVista announced a new talent assessment platform designed to improve HR recruiting and management. According to the company, the platform brings the latest and best practices of industrial/organizational psychology to the hiring market. It offers individual tests for targeted measurement needs, role-specific solutions that measure specific competencies linked to job performance, and advanced solutions for leadership or high-potential staff assessment.

Morgantown, W.Va.-based Mile Out unveiled Veristo, a human capital management software platform for small businesses to source, engage, and manage an extended workforce of freelancers and contractors. The product allows small employers to create, distribute and receive RFPs, create and negotiate contracts, and manage invoices. It also allows freelancers and other vendors to develop and submit proposals and submit invoices.

Two items from crowdsourced-recruiting firm Teamable: First, the company received funding from a new investor, Foundation Capital, with participation from previous investors True Ventures and SaaStr Fund. Also, Teamable acquired Simppler’s referral recommendation engine and matchmaking recruiting software.

WayUp, a job-search platform for interns and early-career professionals, launched WayUp Source, Screen & Coach, a turnkey employer solution designed to improve both the candidate experience and the hiring process. The company said the tools are already being used by companies like Nasdaq and Apex Systems. The launch marks the company’s first move into screening and coaching candidates. It will continue to offer WayUp Listing, WayUp Sourcing, and WayUp Branding.

ClearStar, a technology and service provider to the background screening industry,
signed an agreement to integrate its mobile background screening solutions with Virtual Badge, a patented smartphone ID badging system. The integration is expected to launch by year’s end.
