One-third of workers plans to quit their jobs despite a potential economic downturn, according to a survey by 15Five. In addition, nearly one in five organizations planning on layoffs, and more than one-third of HR leaders have rescinded job offers. HR and employees agree they want downtime to be respected. In response, HR departments are actively looking into creative options to resolve the work-life balance and disappearing-downtime conundrum. One option picking up steam in larger organizations is a four-day workweek. Nearly 60% of HR leaders report they will likely adopt a shorter week.

HCM solutions provider PDS developed improvements to its platform, Vista. The new release introduces a new self-service experience, an updated mobile experience and the unveiling of the company’s mobile app. PDS said the updates will provide customers with new features, fresh opportunities for employee engagement and streamlining processes to result in increased efficiencies.

Remote, whose platform supports the management of distributed workforces, announced a new integration with HiBob that will deliver one-way data synchronization for customers of both platforms. Through the integration, new and existing employee information will be automatically updated from HiBob into the Remote platform, minimizing administrative functions to streamline talent management globally.

Enterprise virtual reality platform provider Immerse announced an upgrade to the Immerse Platform, adding new features that will make VR learning and training initiatives more accessible, easier to use and scalable. Key features include a more intuitive user experience, new flexibility and scalability and improved reporting.

Learnsoft closed a $16.7 million Series A round of growth financing led by Elsewhere Partners. The company intends to scale in order to meet heightened demand for its LMS. Specifically, Learnsoft plans to use the funding to advance its solution offering, grow its team, accelerate adoption of its SaaS platform, and expand into new markets.

SeekOut announced the launch of SeekOut Grow, a new solution that helps HR teams to manage their organization, along with a self-service solution that helps employees support their career development and advancement goals.
