ADP Workforce Now

ADP added new feature to its Workforce Now solution in an effort to improve a number of tasks and workflows.

Among the enhancements:

  • A new, streamlined way to administer and manage training and employee development across the organization. The natively built Essential Learning module simplifies the rollout of training across an organization. Fifty  pre-packaged courses are available on topics such as compliance, personal development, health and safety, and diversity and inclusion. Companies can also create courses specific to their business.

  • Essential Time Advanced Scheduling lets customers use aspects of an employee’s talent profile in scheduling shifts. Supervisors can specify skills requirements for certain shifts and help ensure that they assign qualified people appropriately. As employees’ skills evolve, they can update their profile to become eligible for a broader range of work assignments.
  • A new HR Dashboard is a central location for practitioners to view key information about their workforce, and to initiate tasks. When employees are promoted or move to a new department, users can access HR Actions easily accessible from this dashboard customize the steps involved with an employee job change, as well as templates, workflows and contributors
  • Embedded compensation benchmarks offer intelligence on salary ranges so organizations know how candidates anticipate being paid for open positions. Another tool, profile-relevance, is designed to help identify top candidates in the applicant pool based on analysis of the job listing when compared to factors such as a candidate’s skills, education and experience. In addition, ZipRecruiter Job Slots are now embedded within Workforce Now Recruitment.

In February, ADP launched Roll, a payroll app designed to give SMBs more flexibility in running payroll. The product uses a conversational interface to guide business owners through the payroll process using simple prompts such as “run my payroll.” The result, ADP said, is “payroll without friction,” with no training necessary, reminders that keep business owners up-to-date and the ability to run payroll on any device, from any location.
