Hireology Announces Payroll Tools, New Recruiting App for Auto Dealers

Hireology

Hireology, a Chicago-based recruiting platform for dispersed businesses, announced an integration with auto dealership technology firm Dealerltrack. Separately, the company said it will release a new mobile app this summer.

Hireology said the app is one of several platform enhancements it plans to offer automobile retailers this year. Intended to provide hiring managers with more flexibility when connecting with candidates, the app will be available to all customers and included in Hireology’s base subscription price.

Planned features include the ability to prioritize key job openings, examine pre-screen survey results and other information, communicate with colleagues in-app, and facilitate feedback to speed the hiring process. Customizable email templates will also be available.

CEO Adam Robinson said the app “meets hiring managers where they are—the office, the train, the sales floor—and enables the hiring process to fit seamlessly into the dealership day to day.” Vice President of Product Ves Atanasov added that the idea of simplifying processes is at the top of the company’s priority. “We are focused on listening deeper to our customers and innovating directly to address their biggest pain points,” he said.

Integration for Auto Dealers

Several weeks ago, Hireology and Dealertrack announced a partnership to provide dealers with an integrated payroll and HR solution. The companies said their agreement will ease the redundant processes dealers face when using multiple stand-alone solutions.

Robinson said the partnership was about “making the day-to-day hiring, payroll and HR administration processes for auto dealers more streamlined and accurate” while freeing HR staff to handle more pressing matters.

The integration includes the automatic transfer of new-hire data for onboarding and payroll purposes; management of PTO requests, performance reviews and other administrative chores; a single payroll system of record; and integration of sales commissions, tech time and receivables integration.

Hireology and Dealertrack will show off the integration at the National Automobile Dealers Association’s NADA 2020 conference later this month.
