People: New CHRO at Wells Fargo; SMB HR Firms Add Leaders

HCM Technology People MovesWells Fargo & Company named David Galloreese to be its head of Human Resources as of July 9. He will be based in San Francisco. He most recently served as head of people for Sam’s Club and head of talent for Walmart. Before that, Galloreese led HR at Medallia, a multi-national customer experience software company.

Lisa Crawford has become CHRO of big data company Syncsort, a new position. Before joining Syncsort, she was chief people officer at Unitrends, a business continuity solutions software vendor. She also founded EvolvHR, a strategic and operational consultant on talent management and organizational change, and before that served as senior vice president of HR for Randstad U.S. Professionals.

Transportation and logistics firm Omnitracs hired Stacey Martin to be CHRO. She’ll be responsible for the development of “a solidified organizational culture that encourages the empowerment and engagement of all employees,” the company said. Previously, she work for Travelport, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Science Applications International Corporations (SAIC) and CGI Group.

Salient CRGT promoted Claire Morse from director of HR to vice president of people and culture. Morse joined Salient CRGT in 2015 to oversee HR service delivery, HR business partners and HR administrators across the company’s business units. Previously, she worked as an attorney and consultant specializing in business law and fair employment practices, and more recently led global HR teams at a multinational engineering firm.

Ascential’s MediaLink unit hired Trish Shortell as a managing director in executive search, based in its New York office. She joins from RSR Partners, a boutique search firm where she led the marketing services practice. She reports to MediaLink CEO Michael Kassan, Chairman and CEO of MediaLink.

Healthcare staffing services provider Jackson Healthcare promoted two HR leaders in its corporate office: Robyn Smith was named SVP of HR while Travis Dommert was named SVP of talent development.

Industry Moves

Women in Technology International appointed Candice Benson to the newly created role of executive vice president of corporate relationships and strategy. She had been CEO of Benson Consulting in Bedford, N.H. Since 2007 she has worked with a number of enterprises to streamline and optimize their processes and workflows. She will work with WITI partner organizations worldwide “to more effectively empower women in the workplace, and to develop and enhance their diversity initiatives,” the group said.

Enterprise benefits company Evive named Allen Kline to the newly created role of executive vice president of client experience. Kline joined Evive after working 32 years with national retailer Kohl’s, notably in the areas of human resources operations and benefits.

Ex-Cisco HR executive Ian Bailie joined CognitionX, an AI advice platform provider, to lead its HR AI research. He has more than 15 years of experience working in HR departments, including 10 at Cisco. His most recent role involved partnering with HR tech startups to build a solution to help the company’s 70,000 employees manage their career development and find learning opportunities.

Detroit-based Strategic Staffing Solutions promoted Sheena Wells to managed service provider program director. In this new role, Wells will take on the leadership of all the company’s active MSP programs.

Sprout Wellness Solutions, a workplace wellness technology provider, appointed Andrew Zimakas as CEO. Zimakas brings over 25 years of experience in strategy, business development and marketing for a range of technology-driven businesses. His appointment follows five months as interim chief of operations at Sprout.

RiseSmart, a Randstad-owned outplacement providers, named Kevin Gounden as vice president, international strategy. It also added Jasmine Sim as strategic relationship manager in Singapore, and promoted Joel Paul to general manager, RiseSmart India.

Angela Kusko has been hired as vice president, customer success, to provide U.S.-based support for Worklio, a new payroll software platform. The company is headquartered in the Czech Republic.

Businessolver, a SaaS-based benefits administration technology provider in West Des Moines, Iowa, made six senior level hires as it expands its footprint across the U.S. They are:

  • Brian Ward becomes vice president, South Region Client Operations.
  • Kent Rausch steps into the role of Consumer Health and HSA Practice Leader.
  • Maryellen Moline joins as strategy leader, client operations.
  • Tiffany Wortham takes on the role of VP, West Region Client Operations.
  • Tom Staroszczyk joins as head of product.
  • William Beyer joins as VP, East Region Client Operations.
