Roundup: BambooHR Deepens Integration for Background Checks

BambooHR deepened its integration with Checkr to help streamline background checks of prospective employees. With this update, users can now request background checks from the candidate’s profile within BambooHR’s application tracking system. Once a background check has been completed, a tile will appear on the candidate’s profile page with a link customers can use to view the report in their Checkr account.

Talent development solutions company MaxKnowledge announced the launch of CareerPrepped, a virtual platform connecting talent, talent developers and employers to enable skills-based hiring at scale. The offering helps job seekers provide real-world evidence of their skills and then seek feedback from the community to understand which of their skills are perceived to be well-proven and which need stronger evidence. The goal is to help job seekers signal their skills to employers more effectively.

theEMPLOYEEapp, a mobile application for frontline workers, relaunched its intranet platform for communications. The offering helps with customization and personalization for organizations needing a desktop intranet solution. It includes quick access areas for MyApps, recommended content and integrated calendars.

As companies ramp up layoff efforts to cut costs, a new survey finds holes in their offboarding processes, leading to ghosted exit interviews and stolen company equipment. According to Capterra’s Employee Offboarding Survey, this “lax attitude” toward offboarding comes at a considerable cost. The survey found that 70% of HR workers said multiple employees skipped their exit interviews in the past year. In addition, nearly three-fourths said at least one employee didn’t return company-owned equipment, like a laptop or smartphone.

Virtual employee development company Bundle added a new set of solutions to enhance virtual employee learning. Within the platform, Bundle is introducing two added resources, “learning journeys” and “micro-learning interactives,” helping users to improve their skills through resources and practice exercises.

Sinequa announces Workplace Search, a solution that helps employees with retrieval of company knowledge with the goal of improving productivity and collaboration. The product connects to any content sources for a secure search application that helps with finding information.

Incentive compensation management provider Performio expanded its executive team with the appointment of Deanne Rhynard as chief people officer.
