Roundup: Kazoo, Go1 Expand With Acquisitions

Employee experience platform Kazoo acquired WorkTango, an employee-experience survey and people analytics company. With this acquisition, Kazoo said it will be the only solution available with a full suite of employee listening, recognition and rewards, and performance management capabilities in a single platform. Kazoo and WorkTango will operate their platforms individually as they work to fully integrate both the teams and the solutions.

Learning content firm Go1 acquired Coorpacademy, an e-learning platform and content library with a multinational customer base. Together, the companies will focus on augmenting existing products and content libraries to ensure that users have content that fits the needs of their customers.With offices in France and Switzerland, Coorpacademy will support Go1’s growth plans for Europe. The company also said it intends to enter “new regions” in the future.

Remote closed a $300 million Series C round, led by SoftBank. The investment brings the company’s value to just about $3 billion. CEO Job van der Voort said Remote will use the funds to develop new products, including contractor and global payroll platforms.

ADP added new platform capabilities to its WorkMarket freelance management system. The new feature, Recruiting Campaigns 2.0, enhances WorkMarket’s Labor Clouds curated talent functionality. An end-to-end solution, the update features templates, checklists, custom landing pages and dashboards, all aimed at satisfying business, tax and banking requirements.

Snagajob launched Direct-to-Interview and Easy Apply. Together, they create a single online resume, followed by a list of well-matched jobs based on the candidate’s skills. Direct to Interview allows candidates to schedule an interview when they’re applying for a position, while Easy Apply uses a candidate’s Snagajob Profile instead of redirecting them to off-site applications.

Cangrade, a hiring solution designed to predict a candidate’s success, joined the UKG Connect Technology Partner Program, an ecosystem of solution providers that work with UKG. With the integration, employers can streamline their hiring processes by consolidating candidate information in one place, and provide a seamless candidate experience.

LiveHire’s Direct Sourcing platform is now available on the SAP Store. The platform integrates with the SAP Fieldglass Contingent Management solution to help companies attract and engage external talent. The integration provides new capabilities in sourcing, branded talent attraction, native two-way text messaging and talent pooling.

Hired said it’s evolving its marketplace strategy and expanding its platform to help employers find talent from anywhere, and job seekers pursue remote opportunities. The company also partnered with HR solutions providers Oyster and Remote to help employers source, hire, onboard and employ talent regardless of location.

Hiring platform Hireology will acquire the customer base of franchise-focused ATS Hyrell. Hyrell’s more than 1,200 franchisee customers will transition to Hireology, gaining access to the platform’s suite of pre- and post-hire tools.

Restaurant and hospitality recruitment platform Landed closed a $7 million seed round. Javelin Venture Partners and Blockchain Capital led the funding. The investment will fund efforts to expand Landed’s user base and new product offerings. The company will also add new services on its platform to promote financial wellness.

Performance management startup Mesh announced an $11 million Series A funding round led by RTP Global. The investment comes less than a year after the company’s $5.1 million seed round. The new capital will allow Mesh to build a global team for further expansion in the U.S. and APAC markets.

Sense, a provider of talent engagement and communication solutions for recruiters, announced an integration with AkkenCloud, which offers a front-, middle-,  back-office and payroll platform to staffing and recruiting organizations. The integration will allow Sense to leverage AkkenCloud’s staffing software, helping agencies to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
