Roundup: Oracle Fusion HCM Grows; Paycor Adds Enrollment Wizard

Oracle said its Fusion HCM business grew 27 percent during its fiscal 2020 third quarter. Meanwhile, its Cloud HCM products are seeing strong growth as part of the company’s cloud ERP suite. Overall, the company reported a 4 percent rise in GAAP operating income, to $3.5 billion, while GAAP operating margin rose 36 percent. CEO Safra Catz said subscription revenues grew 5 percent, and now account for 71 percent of total company revenues.  

Paycor added Open Enrollment Wizard to its benefits administration software. The feature provides step-by-step guidance through the design, set-up and implementation of any open enrollment event without the help of a Paycor specialist.

John Wiley & Sons acquired Madgex, a provider of job board software and career center services. Terms weren’t disclosed. Magdex has been involved with Wiley’s career-center efforts since 2011. The companies said Magdex’s technology and Wiley’s experience with societies and publishers make the publisher the only provider of full-service career solutions to that market.

SilkRoad Technology expanded its Workforce Agility Planning solution so that employers can prepare for emergencies by incorporating business and workforce continuity plans into their current talent strategies. The product includes customizable workflows to help business implement immediate changes, such as transitioning employees to remote work, changing business requirements or modifying travel policies.

HackerEarth announced a partnership with JazzHR to fully integrate the recruiting platform’s ATS with HackerEarth Assessments. The integration allows joint users to post directly onto JazzHR’s platform, manage results and feedback from a single place and access candidate analytics. The integration is live and available from JazzHR’s interface.

Internal talent marketplace Gloat will move into the Asia-Pacific with a new office in Melbourne, Australia. The office will be led by former Avature Senior Vice President Riges Younan, who will join the company as a vice president. Gloat said it’s hiring for roles in sales, product, R&D and customer service.

WorkLLama, a provider of candidate engagement and referral management software, introduced a chatbot named Sofi. The chatbot personalized automated discussions as it answers questions and resolves issues, the company said.

Vaya Group introduced Vayability , a personalized talent development solution designed to prepare high-potential employees for advancement into leadership roles. The platform helps emerging leaders form the habits, behaviors and skills necessary to achieve success in mid-sized to Fortune 50 companies, Vaya said.

IBM and Oracle are in the process of integrating blockchain networks built on Fabric, reports BitcoinExchangeGuide. The integration allows clients operating on Oracle’s distributed ledgers to communicate with another client that uses IBM within the same network, the web site said.
