The new capabilities allow employers to provide safer options for entering facilities and check in on physical and mental well-being. At work, managers can schedule teams by cohort or pod to provide stability and help contain risk of sickness. Meanwhile, enhanced contact tracing notifies people who’ve potentially been exposed to illness.

During longer disruptions, the UKG Workforce Continuity Hub allows employers to deploy and manage communications and surveys around specific events, with real-time visibility into how they’re impacting workers on a local, regional and global scale.

Communications Counts

In terms of communication, UKG’s broadcast tools help companies keep their employees informed of health, community and organizational updates. They also help send targeted notifications and messages, and allow employees to reach out for assistance regardless of time or location.

The system can track custom KPIs and measure engagement, monitor fatigue and produce real-time management guidance based on a combination of employee feedback, people analytics and intelligent forecasting. That helps employers build action plans by examining how a crisis impacts their workforce and empowers managers to make appropriate operational decisions.

Finally, compliance features combined with analytics and reporting help customers keep stay up-to-date with federal and state labor laws.

In April, UKG it unveiled its concept of Life-Work Technology,  under which the company aims to bring people and HCM technology together so that employers can support balancing of work with personal life.
