Betterworks released Calibration and Feedback Summary, two new features for its continuous performance management software suite.
The additions are meant to expand the capabilities of Betterworks’ solution by performance management solution by increasing visibility into employee performance and potential while simplifying the process for preparing for and conducting calibration discussions.

Calibration is designed to reduce pre-meeting preparation time for managers and HR while providing simple access to data-driven insights through a drag-and-drop interface. By gathering information on each employee’s goal achievement, development feedback, recognition and manager conversations, it streamlines pre-meeting planning while improving the conversation’s effectiveness.
The tool was was built specifically to support continuous talent planning, Betterworks said. It supports bi-annual, quarterly, monthly and on-demand calibration and also facilitates organization-wide calibration. It’s available as a paid add-on to the Betterworks enterprise subscription offering.
Holistic Feedback
Feedback Summary provides a complete view of an employee’s feedback from co-workers and managers over time. This consolidated view also shows performance averages and distributions for leaders who need insights across larger teams, but still allows them to drill down to the individual-employee level. In addition, Feedback Summary supports peer assessments and multi-rater.
Feedback Summary is available to existing Betterworks customers as part of their current subscription.
In October, Betterworks launched features meant to improve its usability and social tools, with an eye toward increasing adoption by offering employees a more engaging experience. Among those enhancements were a new product home page that provides employees and managers with a clear view of their next steps within the organization’s continuous performance process.
