Gloat unveiled new products for front-line employees that use the company’s platform to help workers uncover opportunities within their organizations, while helping businesses attract, and retain, better talent.
The Career Agility and Frontline Employee offerings are designed to give employees more control over their own growth and development, Gloat said. Career Agility helps businesses pursue new approaches to work that make internal growth and development accessible to all employees. Rather than rely on traditional job architectures, the product uses a combination of skills, interests and job information to give employees real-time visibility and actionable tools to upskill and build their careers. As job requirements evolve and new roles emerge, the platform identifies changes and adjusts its recommendations as necessary.
Career Agility also helps employees bridge skill and experience gaps they identify on their paths. A Career Tracks function provides a step-by-step guide for employees to reach their desired role or gain a specific skill while seamlessly integrating opportunities from Gloat’s Talent Marketplace.
Meantime, the Career Paths feature offers users a variety of personalized career path options based on their unique skills and interests. If employees want to explore additional opportunities, Gloat’s Path Navigator allows them to search for any role within an organization and chart a personalized, step-by-step path to get there.
In addition, Gloat unveiled features tailored to frontline teams. The Talent Marketplace will help frontline employees overcome these challenges such as such as connectivity barriers and job-specific time constraints by offering micro-learning and on-the-job shadowing opportunities, all accessible from a mobile experience.
