Jobvite Adds Direct Link to UltiPro Onboarding

Checklist

Jobvite rolled out an integration with Ultimate Software that allows employers to review a wider expanse of data that connects talent acquisition to post-hire performance.

Jobvite already had an integration with Ultimate Software’s UltiPro in place, but calls the new link a “standard, repeatable and cost effective” connection with UltiPro Onboarding. The integration allows users to push new-hire data into UltiPro, so companies can maintain a single profile for each candidate/employee.

As a result, recruiters will be able “to track candidates through their post-hire journey, drawing new insights to help attract and retain top talent,” said Jared Adams, Jobvite’s senior vice president of product and engineering.

Jobvite is available through integrations with solutions providers covering a range of activities within talent acquisition and HCM. They include offerings in assessments (Codility, eSkill), background checks (HireRight, Sterling), engagement (Canvas), HCM (ADP, BambooHR, Workday), sourcing (Daxtra, Entelo) and social networking (LinkedIn, Slack, Yammer).

Jobvite’s Algorithms

In January, Jobvite revised its algorithms in an effort to enhance search results and speed the job-search process for both recruiters and candidates. At the time, the company said its strategy incorporated multiple algorithms and data sources to reflect its customers’ hiring preferences, as well as those of individual recruiters.

At least in part, the strategy seemed motivated by the unintended consequences of improved job-search and application technology. As it became easier for candidates to apply for jobs, recruiters had to sort through more resumes, many of them marginal. Jobvite’s revised algorithms made it easier to uncover the best matches.

That ability could become even more valuable as the economy recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic’s disruption. With more than 38 million Americans now on unemployment, many recruiters anticipate a deluge of applications once companies begin hiring again.

In April, Ultimate Software and Kronos finalized the merger they announced in February. Eventually, the combined company will announce a new name, but for now it continues to operate distinct product lines.
