Roundup: beqom Introduces Pay Equity Solution; Alight Launches Behavioral Health Services

beqom, a provider of compensation and continuous performance management solutions, introduced a new product for managing pay equity. The company said the solution enables organizations to identify pay gaps associated with gender, ethnicity, age and other demographic factors or intersections of factors. With it, beqom hopes to eliminate bias in pay decisions and ensure fair rewards based on skills, performance and other criteria. The software also helps identify pay disparities relative to the market.

Alight launched enhanced services to help employees and families navigate complex behavioral health concerns. The services include a designated, multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric APRNs and NPs, licensed social workers and mental health counselors. These professionals, Alight said, can act as allies in helping individuals find the site of care that meets their specific need. According to the company, the new features are designed to overcome many of the barriers faced by individuals when trying to seek treatment.

WebMD Health Services agreed to acquire Limeade, an immersive employee well-being company. The acquisition will bring together WebMD Health Services’ human expertise and Limeade’s technical innovation. The results will create holistic well-being and listening solutions, condition management and lifestyle health coaching, on-site dedicated well-being services and biometric screening services. The transaction is expected to close within the next quarter.

Job search engine Adzuna launched a free interview tool. Called Prepper, the product is designed to help job seekers prepare for interviews, coach them on how to respond to questions and provide feedback to help them improve, all based on the particular company and position they’re applying for. Prepper is built on a large language model and uses built-in prompts to generate and review interview questions, and to model answers.

SMBs that prioritize HR best practices are more likely to experience fast growth, according to a recent study by Asure. The survey, Small Business Human Resources Benchmark Report, found that businesses with fast growth consistently implement more than 80% of HR best practices. In addition, 84% of those companies have implemented an employee recognition program to ensure employees feel valued.

Digital workforce solutions provider Factorial unveiled an integration with Apple Pay to simplify employee expense reporting and streamline payment processes. The introduction of Apple Pay will also enable users to use the Factorial Card directly from an iPhone or Apple watch.

Ceridian appointed Sam Alkharrat as executive vice president and chief revenue officer. The company said he will have responsibilities for fostering existing and prospective customer relationships globally, in addition to ensuring the efficiency and alignment of revenue-generating operations.

Workday welcomed Emma Chalwin as its new chief marketing officer. Chalwin will oversee the global marketing organization, with responsibility for building the brand and driving customer demand.
