Shiftboard, which provides enterprise workforce scheduling software for organizations with 24/7 operations, and Randstad partnered on a joint initiative to help companies struggling with persistent labor shortages to quickly secure access to skilled contingent workers. The partnership provides a “holistic, retention-based staffing approach” by combining Shiftboard’s scheduling solutions with Randstad In-House Services (RIS), which offers onsite management solutions for high-volume contingent workforces.

Beeline announced a partnership with Glider AI, a creator of talent quality solutions for testing, verifying and validating the skills of job applicants. The partnership will enable hiring managers to elevate candidates with a verified assessment of skills and expertise compiled during the interview and hiring process. Beeline is the first extended workforce platform to offer clients this solution with Glider AI.

CLEAR, a secure identity company, and Checkr, a technology company for the background check industry, announced a strategic partnership of CLEAR’s identity verification technology platform with Checkr’s background check platform. With it, candidates and employers across industries can leverage a new, scalable hiring solution for a more expedited hiring process. Candidates can also use CLEAR’s Health Pass to demonstrate proof of vaccination for employers that require it.

Indeed and Blockchain Algorithms launched a neurodiversity toolkit to help companies become more inclusive in their hiring. The toolkit includes explanations of neurodiversity, practical advice for hiring managers and HR teams and a sample job description.  

Alight Solutions signed an agreement to acquire ConsumerMedical, a clinical advocacy and medical opinion company. The company said ConsumerMedical will enhance Alight’s ability to help employers build a healthier workforce through data-driven, personalized solutions.

Workstream, a hiring platform and mobile app that focuses sourcing and onboarding of hourly workers, raised $48 million in Series B funding. This announcement comes as the company filled more than 18,700 jobs, which represents more than 2.5% of total private jobs added in July 2021. The round brings the total investment in Workstream to $60.5 million.

Workera.ai closed a $16 million round of Series A funding, following a $5 million seed round in October 2020. The infusion of capital will accelerate product development and fuel the company’s go-to-market strategy.

RChilli’s Resume Parser is now available on Oracle Cloud Marketplace. When integrated with Oracle HCM Cloud, the software automatically fills in application forms on Oracle HCM by extracting data from the resume.  

Trakstar added a Zoom integration to Trakstar Hire, which generates unique Zoom IDs for a companay’s interview invitations. The feature allows users to create Zoom meetings within Trakstar’s solution.

Workday Dubs Google Cloud a ‘Preferred’ Partner

Workday named Google Cloud as a preferred cloud partner across core industries including healthcare, financial services and retail. The company said Google Cloud will help businesses run Workday enterprise applications for finance, HR and planning in a public cloud environment. Read more.
