YouEarnedIt and HighGround will be combined under the brand name “Kazoo.” The new company will meld YouEarnedIt’s recognition and rewards platform with HighGround’s performance management technology. It will also add enhanced surveys to offer an all-in-one solution for an organization’s employee experience needs. By bringing these features into one platform, Kazoo said, companies can more easily strengthen connections at work and develop stronger cultures.

HealthStream, which offers workforce development and provider solutions to the healthcare industry, announced the first group of companies that will integrate their solutions with its hStream platform: Innosonian America, NurseGrid, Perception Health, and CloudCME. HealthStream said hStream will provide greater exposure, easier connectivity and more rapid implementation with its new platform-as-a-service technology.

Benefitfocus expanded its platform with several personal and financial services. For the first time, personal lines insurance such as automobile and renters coverage, are available to brokers through Benefitfocus BenefitsPlace. The company has also added consumer-directed healthcare account options to the platform, and expanded its life insurance offerings. The company said the expansion allows employers and brokers to offer products “as part of a simplified enrollment experience that brings all benefits together in one place.”

HR outsourcing platform provider PrismHR  acquired AgileHR, which develops cloud-based talent management software. In January, PrismHR began offering AgileHR’s performance management solution through its marketplace. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ascentis announced its third acquisition in six months–the time and attendance solutions provider Integrated Time Systems. The acquisition furthers Ascentis’s efforts to offer end-to-end HCM solutions through its product line.

A startup, ImmersionOne, launched to develop talent acquisition and retention solutions using gamification. Behind ImmersionOne’s game interface, algorithms and principles screen employees to find ones who most likely to fit with open roles, the company said. In addition, the platform can be used to onboard employees offer interactive learning and development.
