BambooHR Adds Multiple Review Cycles for Performance Management

BambooHR now enables organizations to create multiple review cycles to help gauge the performance of employees. The company said the feature will help employers create a more customized experience for both management and workers.

The tool is one of the new performance management capabilities introduced by BambooHR to, in its words, provide “deeper and individualized insights into employee performance.” Other features include the ability to create customized reviews to meet unique employee needs, create custom or specific review dates or frequency and to create separate questions for employee groups and managers.

“Business leaders know different groups in their organization have unique performance management needs,” said Anita Grantham, the company’s head of HR “Whether it’s distinct departmental questions or differing frequencies, multiple review cycles will enable HR and business leaders to customize a review process that garners better insight and drives individualized improvement.”

The platform’s update also introduces the ability to manage the review cycle using a dashboard that simplifies tracking of an employee’s progress.

‘More Effective Engagement’

BambooHR believes the need for organizations to partner with their employees on the way to better business outcomes has become more important than ever.

In September last year, BambooHR unveiled new product features designed to streamline the hiring and onboarding of new employees. Those features included integration with ZipRecruiter, introduction of talent pools for future consideration of candidates who were not hired and additional flexibility for creating new hire packets.

BambooHR last year also announced an integration with Slack to streamline time-off requests, calculate time-off balances and access employee directories, all within the Slack app. The integration streamlined HR logistics to allow users to manage time-off requests and balances, see who is out of the office and lookup employee information in the directory.
