G-P announced a customizable employment product suite to help companies build and manage global teams. The product, G-P Meridian, provides a control center for global employment in the form of a single dashboard designed to fit the modern workplace.
According to G-P, the current digital economy — combined with the shift toward remote and hybrid work — has created opportunities to find the best talent around the globe. However, there’s a barrier to entry in the form of the cost and complexity of establishing legal entities and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
The product suite is being offered in three different versions: G-P Meridian Core, Prime and Select. With these, the company hopes to provide a more personalized experience by letting customers choose a package that aligns with their needs. That looks like this:
- G-P Meridian Core: delivers technology to help companies hire, onboard and manage global teams with exceptional speed-to-market and complete compliance.
- G-P Meridian Prime: includes all of the features of G-P Meridian Core, but equips customers with expanded global expertise, insights and white glove services. In addition, customers can leverage G-P’s expertise to inform and guide their strategic planning with comprehensive benefit analysis, expansion services and quarterly account reviews.
- G-P Meridian Select: standalone solutions and package add-ons that enable users to customize their packages with functionality. With it, customers will be able to manage contractors, recruit and onboard talent, complete background checks, manage equity, support visa applications and sponsorship, provide office space and IT equipment, enforce contracts and provide transition support services for mergers and acquisitions.
According to G-P Chief Product and Strategy Officer Rajesh “Nat” Natarajan, the suite provides flexibility combined with expertise and insights that can help business leaders stay competitive, manage through unique challenges and grow global teams.
Last month, G-P and Wise announced a partnership to help organizations pay international freelancers and contractors. Through the integration, companies have direct access within the G-P platform to a payment system that helps ensure fairness and pay transparency for all talent. In addition, the collaboration promised to deliver flexible payment options and a straightforward view into the payments process.
