HiBob launched a native workforce module for its platform, called “Bob.” The module is designed to help companies improve their efficiency by helping to easily plan, track and analyze their positions and people data.

Incorporating a workforce planning strategy helps companies respond to emerging economic or technological trends that disrupt the workplace, and to build realistic business plans, the company said. It also helps HR bring data to the finance team, as well as other executive stakeholders. HiBob said companies that pursue workforce planning are more likely to experience overall success by balancing strategic control and care of staffing with business requirements.

HiBobHR used customer feedback to develop the module, collaborating with 25 early adopters. They included Eurowag, Parimatch, LHV, Danish Industry, Fiverr and Landa.

Workforce planning “should ultimately help drive the business forward,” said HiBob CEO Ronni Zehavi. “Changes to the modern world of work caused by flexible, remote, hybrid models and dispersed teams have made HR technology imperative for business success.”

HiBob’s Workforce Planning module includes the ability to plan for cycles, including the creation and evaluation of different scenarios such as re-organizations, acquisitions or other large-scale disruptive changes, the company said. It simplifies position planning with needed visibility, analytics and accuracy for HR and finance teams. It also pulls analytics to identify problems with execution, identify skills gaps and track internal mobility when filling planned positions.

In May, HiBob joined forces with workforce management and shift-scheduling platform Deputy. At the time, the companies said the integration would help eliminate duplicative manual data entry for HR managers and team leaders. (Among other things, it allows customers to manage shift employees in Deputy, without having to input data by hand.) With the arrangement, customers can create, activate, update and deactivate a shift employee in one place, the companies said.
