Remote and hybrid-work arrangements have changed work culture, said research from HR platform provider BambooHR. The company found significant disconnects between frontline employees and leaders on various aspects of culture, and said many employees are considering quitting their jobs because of culture concerns. HR professionals are also feeling the strain: Nearly a quarter of HR managers (22%) said remote work has caused them to spend most of the workday on tasks they dislike or hate.

Pandemic-related regulation and market conditions remain top concerns for 2022 for board members and C-suite executives, according to Protiviti and North Carolina State University.
