Cornerstone OnDemand expanded its content portfolio with new technologies designed to collapse boundaries between content producers and learners, content and skill building. Cornerstone said the technology will drive people growth and support organizations as they develop future skills and drive business transformation. The company also launched fresh Cornerstone Originals content, where each course is strategically designed to develop and strengthen emerging skills.

HiBob launched a native Workforce Planning module, designed to help employers improve efficiency by enabling them to easily plan, track and analyze their positions and people data. The module includes the ability to plan for cycles including the creation and evaluation of scenarios such as re-organizations, acquisitions or other large-scale disruptive changes. It also pulls analytics to identify any problems with execution, identifies skills and tracks internal mobility when filling planned positions.

Workers are looking for new jobs, asking for extra shifts or taking on side hustles to make ends meet as everyday expenses eat up a bigger chunk of their paychecks. A study by Qualtrics found that 64% of workers say it’s harder to pay for their living expenses than it was a year ago. In addition, the rate of employees quitting is still high as job seekers accelerate their search, trying to find a new role with better compensation while openings are still available.

Gloat unveiled Skills Landscape, a platform enhancement that allows organizations to quickly upskill at scale by giving every employee skill-based guidance on how to reach their career goals. The program captures and analyzes workforce decisions and translates them into actionable recommendations for each worker.

Frontline employee training and communications company Axonify announced a strategic relationship with Achievers, an employee experience software platform. Through the arrangement, mutual customers of Axonify and Achievers’ can offer employers simpler access to rewards and receive recognition for their achievements.

Workforce management platform Voilà! announced the closing of a $13.75 million Series A funding round, led by Walter Ventures with participation from Desjardins Capital and Investissement Quebec.
