Microsoft released a Work Trend Index Pulse report, “Hybrid Work Is Just Work. Are We Doing It Wrong?” The report detailed the disconnect between employers and employees on the topic of hybrid work and made suggestions for employers to bridge the gap. The company also announced new capabilities in Microsoft Viva, its employee experience platform, designed to help empower and energize employees in a time of economic uncertainty.

The company’s research highlights how the improper structure and implementation of flexible work programs can exacerbate existing challenges in an organization or even create new ones. Therefore, McLean recommends organizations uncover the unique needs of specific employee segments to offer the kinds of flexibility that employees want.

HiBob announced an integration with Mercer, compensation and benchmark data will now be available to its users. HR and compensation managers can use the data for smarter compensation cycles, workforce and budgetary planning, and hiring with competitive pay strategies.
