WorkTango Seeks to Address ‘Quiet Quitting,’ Employee Disengagement

WorkTango, the employee experience firm acquired earlier this year by Kazoo, launched what it calls a “holistic, enhanced” version of its eponymous employee experience platform. As a part of the update, the company said it has unveiled a new brand identity.

WorkTango, previously branded Kazoo + WorkTango, offers employee recognition and rewards solutions to organizations. The company also enables businesses to conduct employee surveys and collect other insights, as well as align their workers to a company’s goals via goal-setting and objective and key results tracking.

“The holistic, enhanced WorkTango platform we announced today is a proven solution for improving employee engagement, motivation and alignment – and has a direct impact on our customers’ bottom lines as a result,” said WorkTango CEO Patrick Manzo.

Employee Disengagement

According to a research study by Gallup, just over a third of U.S. employees (34%) in were engaged in 2021. That occurred even as the percentage of engaged workers slumped for the first time in over 10 years. “’Quiet quitting’ and employee disengagement have become urgent C-suite and board-level imperatives,” Manzo observed.

That’s one reason why, earlier this year, Oracle launched OracleME, an employee experience platform designed to help organizations increase engagement with their workforce.

Oracle ME is an open platform that extends across Oracle Fusion Cloud’s applications suite. It connects to, and automates, processes with third-party systems and works across multiple channels such as email, SMS, web browser, collaboration tools and video conferencing.

Oracle says that the new platform enables HR and business leaders to streamline communications across their organizations. It also helps them to increase productivity by guiding employees through complex tasks, and improve talent retention by developing a more supportive environment, Oracle added.

WorkTango said its platform is currently used by over 1,000 enterprise, mid-market and SMB organizations.
