Modern Hire launched two new features intended to improve both the client and candidate experience. The Candidate Feedback Report can be presented to candidates who complete a pre-hire assessment. It highlights the individual’s top strengths and provides personalized feedback to apply to future opportunities. Also, the company redesigned its Candidate Dashboard to provide users with a more streamlined experience.

Nearly half – or 46% — of the 1,500 hiring managers surveyed by Robert Half anticipate adding new permanent positions during the second half of the year. Another 46% expect to fill vacated positions, and only 8% expect hiring freezes or layoffs. “Despite talk of an economic slowdown, many companies remain in hiring mode — and professionals with in-demand skills continue to have options,” said Robert Half Senior Executive Director Paul McDonald.

Alight said revenue grew 6.4% to $715 million during 2022’s second quarter. Net income rose to $52 million from net loss of $4 million the previous year. Business Process as a Service revenue increased 36.2%, and represented 17.9% of total revenue. Over 90% of anticipated 2022 revenue were under contract, the company said.

Topia acquired Pearl Global Tech, an independent immigration risk engine and knowledge base. Pearl Global’s solutions perform immigration risk assessments. With the addition, Topia simplifies compliance for tax and immigration, helping companies to support remote work and distributed work policies.

Collaboration Insights added a “people chemistry” category to its yüMIvü platform, which integrates with workplace collaboration solutions. In addition to working as a standalone solution, the platform works within Microsoft Teams and Outlook to, the company said, improve meetings, chats and collaboration.

Eden unveiled a People Success suite of tools with its new Performance Management product. The company said the launch marks the expansion of Eden’s suite beyond hybrid workplace tools. Performance Management simplifies feedback cycles and processes, the company said. 

theEMPLOYEEapp announced new social capabilities for frontline workers. The new features aim to offer a similar experience to social media platforms that employees already comfortably use and give internal communications teams more ways to create bottom-up and two-way communication.

Unicorn HRO released new benefits enrollment modules for Open Enrollment, First Time Enrollment and Life Events within its ICON HRIS Employee Self-Service platform. Unicorn HRO helps organizations standardize HR processes, automate tasks and create workflow efficiencies.

Simpliant launched a cloud-based workforce solutions platform targeted at healthcare facilities, hospitals and staffing agencies that want to act as their own managed service provider.
